Rock Springs No Yard Waste April 6-10

Unfortunately, due to driver circumstances, we will not be picking up yard debris for the week of April 6th through April 10th.

Yard debris will be back on its regular schedule the week after next. All customers are welcome to take their yard debris to the Green River Transfer Station any time during operating hours, Tuesday through Saturday 9AM to 5PM. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Rock Springs and Transfer Station Good Friday Hours

Rock Springs Office
The Rock Springs office will be closed at 1pm on April 10th in observance of Good Friday.

Rock Springs Collections on Friday, April 10
Because the landfill closes early on Good Friday, we want to make sure that all Friday customers have their carts out no later than 6am to ensure service.

Green River Transfer Station
The Green River Transfer Station will also be closing at 1pm on April 10th for Good Friday, but will be open normal operating hours on Saturday, April 11th. The normal Saturday hours are from 9am to 5pm with a half hour for lunch starting about 12:30pm.

Residential Recycling in Green River

Wyoming Waste is currently awaiting approval from the State of Wyoming to use the entirety of the Green River Transfer Station. At this time, there has been a delay with approval and as such, Wyoming Waste cannot use the inside of the Transfer Station. For the week of January 20th, all recycling will be taken and disposed of at the Sweetwater County Solid Waste District #1 Landfill.
